PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The European Standard Double Girder Overhead Crane is designed and manufactured in accordance with European FEM and DIN standards — a fundamental departure from the traditional Chinese-standard QD-type double girder crane. Where conventional Chinese cranes use CD1/MD1 electric hoists mounted beneath the girder, the LH crane uses a European-designed wire rope hoist trolley that runs between the two main girders, significantly lowering the overall crane profile and increasing effective hook travel within the same building height.
The practical advantage is measurable: the LH crane's total structural height is 20 to 25 percent lower than an equivalent traditional crane, dead weight is 20 to 30 percent lighter, and maximum wheel pressure is 15 to 20 percent lower. For facilities specifying a new building, these reductions mean lower steel structure requirements and lower construction cost. For retrofit installations in existing buildings, the reduced height means the crane achieves greater hook travel than a conventional crane of the same capacity would allow.
The main girder uses a bias-rail box-type structure manufactured from Q345-B high-strength structural steel, robot-welded for consistent weld quality throughout. The hoisting motor and reducer are imported units featuring a high-speed motor and hard-tooth surface gear reduction system. The integrated, compact design of the hoisting motor, reducer, reel, and limit switch saves space and reduces the time and cost of maintenance. Trolley travel is controlled by a variable frequency drive as standard, running at 20 metres per minute with precise and stable positioning — critical when handling precision or high-value components.
Working duty classifications from A5 to A8 cover the full range from standard manufacturing environments to continuous heavy-duty and metallurgical process applications. The crane is not rated for use in combustible, explosive, or corrosive environments in standard configuration.
