The LX single girder suspension overhead crane — also called a single beam suspension crane or single girder underhung overhead crane — is a light-duty lifting solution engineered for facilities where floor-standing support columns cannot be installed or where building headroom is limited. The crane is suspended directly from the existing roof structure, with the bridge travelling on pulleys mounted on crossbeams that run along the bottom flange of overhead I-beam runways. The crane is paired with a CD (single-speed) or MD (dual-speed) electric wire rope hoist. Its compact dimensions, low deadweight, and light wheel loads make it the economical choice for low-rise factories, warehouses, caves, and other spaces where a conventional top-running crane would require costly building modifications. The bridge can be assembled from multiple track sections, providing strong scalability to cover the full workshop area. The modular bolt-together design simplifies installation, and the entire crane is operated via pendant control or wireless remote control, with an optional cabin. Standard capacities range from 0.5 to 10 tonnes, with spans from 3 to 16 metres and lifting heights from 6 to 18 metres. Work duty is rated from A3 to A5, suitable for light to moderate service cycles in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C. Note: This crane is prohibited for use in combustible, explosive, or corrosive environments.
